Whilst redecorating a bedroom, I attempted to remove a radiator and damaged a pipe in the process. Peter was over within the hour, drained the system, fixed the leak and refilled and tested the system - quickly and efficiently. A very reasonable and fair price and he took a credit card payment saving me having to dash to the cashpoint.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and service from the engineer from Abbotts Boiler Services. He came to do a routine gas safety check but found an underfloor gas leak in the process. He not only repaired this at the same visit, which involved moving the furniture and taking up carpets and floorboards, but also added on at the same time a check of the thermostat which was malfunctioning. The price charged for all this was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm.

Had them a few times before to install power-shower + fix emergency leakage problems, so I knew they were not cowboys. This property is 70 yrs old & the boiler system was 25 yrs old, so they had quite a job to overcome changes in regs over the years. Not an easy job, but done properly. We would recommend them, & stick with them.

Why is my Worcester Bosch boiler flashing a blue light?
The blue light is flashing to let you know the boiler has a fault, The light flashes at different speeds, which indicates where to look for the fault, The light will generally flash slow flash mainly off, Or fast flash mainly on, NOTE, this is only an indication of the fault, as there may be more than 1 issue,
When is the best time to service a boiler?
The best time to have your boiler serviced is within 12 months of installation, and annually from there on. Or if it is an older boiler, or it has not been serviced for a while, I would recommend as soon as possible, but before the cold weather sets in. other than that there is never a best time for a service, as faults/breakdowns can occur at any time.
Why service a boiler? What are the benefits of boiler servicing?
By having your boiler serviced annually, you maintain any gaurantee/warrantee that came with the boiler. It also keeps the boiler working at it's optimum performance, Whilst the boiler is being serviced, the engineer should also be looking for any signs of leaks, or possible issue that may be arising, and then able to inform the customer, of the issues (if any) and possible remedies, costs etc. If the engineer does give you any advice, or recommends further works required, it is best to act upon their advice,
