Tony repaired and serviced my boiler last year so when it failed again last month I was glad I had someone reliable to call on for help. From diagnosing the problem with my old boiler through quoting for a replacement, obtaining matching bricks for the smaller outside wall flue and completing the new installation, Tony's work ethos and friendliness can only be rated as excellent in every way.

What is the best combi boiler?
I have installed almost every make of boiler on the market. my absolute favourite is the Baxi 600/ 800 range. up to a 10 year warranty with this range backed up by outstanding customer service. Brass manifold, stainless steel heat exchanger, one touch filling loop, easy to use and connect to via external controls. one great feature is a rainwater catchment tray inside the boiler. This will divert any rainwater which may enter the air intake on the flue directly to the condensate drain. This is something that most other manufacturers dont do. without this the water can damage the fan, gas valve and boiler electrics. very nice feature in my opinion.
What is the best combi boiler for a 2-3 bedroom house?
In any situation it would be best to call on a time served engineer to conduct a site survey and answer a few questions regarding water usage and demands. In most cases in this type of property a 30kw boiler would give ample supply to meet the needs of a small family. There are many different manufacturers on the market and the choice is usually driven by budget. Worcester sit at the top of this at the most expensive, vaillant baxi sitting mid range and ideal at the lower end. Ideal seem to be a good option at the moment due to a long warranty.
