Steve and the team at Sentinel Building Company were truly amazing throughout our renovation journey. From the outset, we had the ambitious goal of restoring our 1870's house with original designs but in a modern way. Steve not only understood our vision but, along with his team, came up with ideas that surpassed our expectations. Their professionalism, friendliness, and commitment to quality made the entire process a pleasure. The transformation they achieved is nothing short of remarkable. Our house, now a stunning home, boasts a new kitchen, bathrooms, stairway, and a flawless paint job. The attention to detail in preserving original designs while adding a modern touch is a testament to their expertise. Excellent workmanship to a superb high standard - that's what you expect from a reputable firm like this. But what you can't buy is the attitude. Every single person who came to our home was professional, kind, trustworthy and conscientious. We were quite happy to leave our keys for them when we had to go to an appointment. Can't recommend them highly enough!

We got a blocked loo during lockdown and our regular plumber wasn’t doing visits...

We got a blocked loo during lockdown and our regular plumber wasn’t doing visits. I was recommended to try Sentinel Heating and Plumbing and I am so glad I did. I called Steve in the afternoon and we booked a visit for early the next morning. Barry and Brad solved the problem, which required a bit of investigation and wasn’t that straightforward, in under an hour, and even recommended something we could get done to avoid having recurring issues down the line. So prompt, so helpful, so knowledgeable and so price competitive, I won’t go anywhere else for plumbing and heating in the future.

Extremely professional service with full and frequent contact maintained throughout. The team were very friendly and reliable - and most importantly they treated my house like it was my home and not a building site. The job evolved into something quite different than we'd originally imagined and we are delighted with the end result.

I instructed Sentinel to re-design my home to increase and make better use of the space with the build of a side return extension. They did a fantastic job of understanding my aims of marrying the historic building with new build unifying the property perfectly. I now have a stunning light filed kitchen/diner and a much larger bathroom. They also installed a new en-suite bathroom. Steve was a fantastic Project Manager, professional, helpful and very responsive with all our communication. I found all of the Sentinel tradesmen to be trustworthy, hardworking and a pleasure to have at my property. So much so, I have asked them to come back to re-design/configure my spare room/office. Highly recommended and have done so to friends looking to have building work done.
