Advantages of a system boilers would be that they must be fitted with a cylinder to store water hot water, but no need for loft tanks so can free up some space, system boilers are more job specific, the pump also comes within the boiler so carries the parts and labour warranty cover. BoilerOne recommend you ask a gas safe registered engineer to advise on the best boiler for you.

Installing a system boiler will mean the system will be bespoke to your home. It will have a separate hot water cylinder with immersion heater so you will have a back up should the boiler fail. The system will also incorporate standard system controls so will be cheaper and easier to fix in the future. A system boiler will also be able to be smaller in terms of kw rating than a combi which will improve longevity and efficiency. A system boiler and unvented cylinder is basically the best set up you can have for terms of hot water delivery and heating.
