The best advantage of installing a combination boiler is for me, space! these days customers don't want to see their boiler so it can be hidden in the loft, the old airing cupboard or even behind a kitchen cupboard. They are great for instantaneous hot water and if set up correctly, very energy efficient.

A combination boiler is very efficient as it will only heat hot water when you open up a tap (instant hot water) rather than heating a tank full of water daily. You can see a considerable drop in energy bills when installing a combi boiler replacing an old tank fed system. A combination boiler is mains pressured and therefore has a good hot water flow rate. The heating system is also pressurised. You usually gain space when installing a combination boiler in place of a conventional system as there is no longer a need for the hot water tank and storage tanks in loft.
