Our CH boiler was overdue for a service and we were well satisfied with the quality of the work carried out by Mike. Beagle Heating, Plumbing, Gas (formerly Rob Nicholas & Co) was established as a plumbing and heating business in 1997 as a response to the gas safety regulations being introduced forcing landlords to undertake annual safety tests.
Since starting we have worked with a team of 3, Myself, Mike (my nephew) and my wife Hayley, and we all still work here to this day, a true family business.
We specialise in safety inspections for landlords including gas and PAT testing, but we are just as happy to carry out general plumbing and heating works and boiler installations. We are currently registered with Worcester boiler installers and can guarantee boiler installation to the highest standards.

How to fix a leaking / dripping tap?
Dripping taps are the bane of many peoples lives but can generally be rectified fairly easily, the easiest taps to repair are the older type ones with a rubber washer, your local plumber can rewasher and reseat these taps for you at a reasonable cost. More modern taps however can be slightly more complicated as most now have ceramic disc cartridges that can come in a myriad of different manufacturer options. We would suggest if you are having a new tap fitted you note the manufacturer and model of the tap to make things easier in the future when you will inevitably have to replace the cartridge. Having said that it is now becoming a lot easier to replace the cartridges as merchants are getting on top of this and offering a wide range of accessories.
What common problems are there with Worcester Bosch boilers?
Worcester boilers are extremely reliable boilers, that is why we choose to work with them as accredited installers. But like any high technology mechanical equipment that is working heavily it is imperative that the boilers are serviced regularly and correctly. Worcester require that after no more than 5 years use the boiler is fully stripped and various seals etc are replaced and the a thorough internal clear out is carried out, it is this lack of in depth service that appears to be missed most consistently and this can lead to some serious issues. If your boiler has not received this full service procedure and is at least 5 years old we would suggest you consider contacting your local installer and ensuring this is carried out at the next due service date.
How to re-pressurise a Worcester Bosch Boiler?
Worcester Greenstar boilers are normally fitted with an integral filling loop, this is situated at the bottom right of the boiler, you will need to remove the slide cover at the very bottom of the boiler by pulling it forwards. this cover should have a T shaped key which should be fitted in to the black plastic filling loop on a 45 degree angle then turned so the arrow on the key is directly facing you..
