We definitely recommend an extractor. Without one vapour in your bathroom will condensate, which can cause mould growth. An extractor and an open window will definitely help to prevent this. These are always installed by a qualified electrician. You can choose from a wide array of designs.

Any bathroom or shower room should have some sort of mechanical extraction. This should prevent moisture build up on the ceiling and remove most of the steam created by the bath or shower. Also any room with a toilet that doesn't have a window that opens should have a mechanical extraction fan.

Any bathroom or shower room ideally should have an extractor fan. Weather it’s wall mounted or ceiling mounted. You also have the option of fan light kits, giving and extractor fan and spotlight in one. Also depends on where the extractor is suitable to be vented. Bathrooms have different electrics zones, this will determine which fan is needed. IE zone 1 zone 2 etc
