This is the second job I've had done by this engineer and I'm really pleased with the quality of his work. He installed my new boiler, fitted a new radiator in my living room and also fitted 3 new thermostats for other radiators free of charge! He tidied up really well afterwards too. Oh, and was happy to answer various (probably stupid!) questions and offer advice on other issues. The invoice had no surprises - I paid exactly what he had quoted. Would 100% recommend to others.

Very thorough service. Engineer was knowledgeable and experienced, able to offer advice on various options before going ahead. Took time to explain issues. Had a problem afterwards as no gas for my cooker, but the engineer popped straight back to resolve this. I am going ahead with further work through the same engineer - a new boiler and radiator etc. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

What is the difference between an electric boiler and a gas boiler?
Electric boilers run on electric only. They themselves produce no emissions in the home. But can be slower to heat a home from cold. Gas boilers produce Co2 emissions but less and less due to the ever improving designs made by manufacturers. They can heat the home slightly quicker than electric boilers from cold. Both require installing by a qualified engineer and a yearly service
What is a flueless gas fire?
A flueless gas fire is simply a low output gas fire that doesn't require a chimney or flue to remove the products of combustion from the appliance. However you will in most if not all cases need to have a form of ventilation added to the room. Usually a floor vent or wall vent. This will require a gas safe engineer to install it and service it on an annual basis.
Do electric boilers need servicing?
Just like a normal Gas or oil boiler, electric boilers require servicing. They will come with safety devices etc, connected to the system ,and thermal cut outs that should be tested on an annual basis. Your appliance will come with a warranty and this service is a requirement to keep it.
