CH4 Group Ltd always provide a great service, Chris always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is in order and running perfectly. We had CH4 in for a full oil bolder service and oil tank inspection. Due to our working arrangements Chris made a special trip in the evening and work late until the job was complete without hesitation. Highly recommend!!

How long should bathroom sealant last and how often should it be replaced?
All silicone is different. As a company we always choose Dow for white or clear and Bal to match in with tiles and grout. Using a good quality silicone will give the product a better finish and will also have increased life expectancy. I would recommend replacing the bathroom silicone between 7-12 years. This would also depend on appearance and daily usage. Silicone may still be water tight, but have black mould spores beginning to show. This will be a factor as to when silicone would want to be replaced.
Does a fireplace add value to a house?
How much value a fireplace would put on the house would depend on what is it being used for. Log/multi fuel burners are extremely popular at the minute, ya as a company have fitted many. Using your fire place for a gas or solid fuel burning appliance would significantly add value to the property compared to a bare chimney/ electric fire. It would all come down to personal preference. The profit would outweigh the cost of having a fire fitted.
What is the best combi boiler for a 2-3 bedroom house?
The boiler would all depend upon what the hot water demand may be. You also have to look at the incoming cold main pressure and flow rate ( no point in having a boiler capable of giving you 15 litres a minute of hot water when you only have 11 litres a minute of incoming cold water) the brand of the boiler would depend of the budget of the customer. (My personal favourites are Ideal Vogues or the Baxi 600 series). For a three bed house, I would always opt for around a 30kw boiler. For plenty of hot water and would more than likely have enough left in it for any future extensions to the hot water demand.
