We designed our bathroom and showed to Mick who brought our design to life. He helped us source everything we needed, and pointed us towards suppliers who would give us his trade discount. When the time came to fit the bathroom, he worked diligently, efficiently and was lovely to work with. He did the job to a very high standard, and did it within the timeframe. Our job was fairly complicated as we were rerouting a lot of pipework, electrics etc but he wasn't phased, and came back to resolve a few minor issues. The end result is superb and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mick and his team. Five stars!

I would strongly recommend Michael Frith plumbing his attention to detail and work are excellent. Mick, upgraded two en-suites, removing all existing fixtures and tiles at which time the plaster came off walls, he then went on to board and re-plaster walls and ceilings and tiled and fitted new fixtures including installing digital showers. Mick also upgraded the main Bathroom again removing all existing fixtures and any excess pipework which there was a lot of. New fixtures where then installed including a 100 Gallon polytank and pump to increase the water pressure which now allows us to use more than 1 shower at a time.

How long does it take to fit a new bathroom?
This normally depends on the size of the bathroom and the amount of work required, At Michael Frith Plumbing i normally allow 10 days for most complete bathroom refurbishment jobs. This would include the ripping out of existing bathroom products and alteration of any pipework and electrics to suit the new installation, preparing walls and floors for tiling or other coverings, installation of bathroom suite and shower products, clearing site and rubbish removal. A basic straight swap bathroom suite without any major alterations or tiling would take approximately 2 to 3 days.
What is the best way to update bathroom tiles without replacing them?
If you dont want to remove existing tiles, one option would be to clean out the existing grout & replace with a new colour, although this is a long and tedious job. Other & better options are to cover with decorative waterproof wall panels or to skim over with plaster and decorate, with any of the last options to get the best finish it would be preferable to remove any existing sanitary ware and radiators including wc suites and wash basins, but as with any work involved in your bathroom or anywhere in your house i would always get professional advise, it will probably end up saving you money
What is the best type of flooring for a bathroom?
I would normally recommend either tiling in either ceramic, porcelain or stone tile with the option of electric underfloor heating. Vinyl or laminate flooring suitable for bathrooms is another option & normally cheaper than tiling, most of the above are also available in non slip options. I would personally steer clear of carpets in bathrooms.
