This is a local company, we contacted them just before the lockdown looking for...
This is a local company, we contacted them just before the lockdown looking for some work. They kept in contact with us, and as soon as possible, they arrived to carry out the work. This was completed with the minimum of fuss, they went the extra mile with a few extra jobs which we asked them to do while they were here. These were completed without any extra charge and to their excellent high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Ken and his team, in fact, we're hoping to use them again in the next couple of months.

Ken and Stephen arrived each day as scheduled and got on with the job without fuss. We appreciated that they moved furniture etc. as we are "getting on a bit". We would recommend, without hesitation. Whiskey, the dog, misses them.

How much does it cost to paint a 6 panel door?
Given that a decorator is likely to have to visit the "door" in question around 5-6 times the cost is normally fairly high, unless something else is being done in the house - normally customers would have the doors done when each room is decorated and then it can be easily built into the cost of that room. However, say a new door has been fitted - there are a lot of variables which will affect cost. Is it bare wood, has it been pre-primed, is the paint to be used oil or water based? All these factors will affect cost.
How much does it cost to paint a ceiling?
Any decorator worth their salt would need to see the ceiling in question before giving a price for painting it. What preparation is needed, what size is the ceiling, has the homeowner or a past owner smoked? There are a million different things which may or may not need to be taken into account...... are there cracks which need filled, is there a cornice, is it new plaster or previously painted? Actually almost an impossible question to answer as each ceiling will be different!
What is the best paint brand in the UK for outdoor painting?
Each decorator will give you a different answer to this questions as we all have our own preferences! I personally like the new improved formulation of Johnstones Stormshield - it is shower proof in 20 minutes which in Ireland is a real bonus due to the amount of rain.......... Most brands of paint which are from "Trade" shops will be decent - but I'd suggest you avoid buying paint from large DIY stores. The DIY stores paint will likely be thinner, hence more likely to be splashed about and also more coats will be needed to achieve the finish desired.
