What conservatory roofing options are there?
There are three main types of roof 1, budget which would be polycarbonate sheets 2, glass and thirdly a warm roof. Each has its place like I said the budget option is good for porches lean tos on the side of a house for you to put a washing machine but not good if you want to use the space to sit etc. Glass is an upgrade for a sunroom but has limited use on some conservatories/ sunrooms as it can get to hot in the summer and to cold in the winter. But now you can get a warm roof that keeps a better temperature all year round and makes a more usable space. If you have a sunroom or conservatory that’s not usable you can retro fit a warm roof in most cases
How much does it cost to replace a plastic conservatory roof with glass?
This is a difficult one to answer as a roof with polygal roof sheets is lighter than a glass one so it’s just not always a straight swop, the roof may need to be upgraded ie new structure to take the extra weight also if you are changing it because it’s to hot in the summer and it’s to cold in the winter it might be better to update to a warm roof system instead
