Jamie fitted a new boiler in my own home towards the end of summer and I was really impressed with his work. He advised me clearly on what I needed and offered additional top ups, like a WiFi controlled thermostat, something I hadn’t actually considered. When it came to replacing the boiler for my tenants, I wouldn’t have asked anyone else. Advising me in what was needed, as well as offering options suited to a rental property, the whole job was great once again. Jamie is a tidy worker, works to suit the timing needs of the customer and very friendly in all his communications, as well as professional and efficient. I would recommend him to anyone and can’t sing his praises highly enough.

Came out quickly to replace our kitchen tap, and as there was no isolator we had to switch the water supply off to the whole house. Jamie also added a new isolator as well as replacing tap, in a very awkward place! Very impressed.

What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
If you have a bigger property or more than one bathroom and your hot water requirements are quite high then an unvented cylinder is the way to go. As long as you you have decent flow rates on your water supply then an unvented will supply all the hot water you need. Can be installed with or without gas central heating.
What is the best smart thermostat in 2020?
I’ve probably not far off fitted every smart thermostat the market has to offer. My favourites are Hive and Ideal Halo Wi-Fi. Both easy to install and set up, and easy to use from the customers perspective. Both giving full control from the touch of a button on your phone or tablet.
What is the best combi boiler?
My go to boiler is the Ideal Logic Max. 10 years warranty out of the box and reasonably priced. For a top end boiler I’d recommend the Ideal Vogue. Which in my opinion is the best on the market. The ideals are as good as any other boiler but what makes them great is the support and customer service from the manufacturer.
