What is the best worktop material for a kitchen?
It depends on the size of the household but if you are prepared to put the work in I would go for solid wood, you can sand it if you scratch it, as long as you look after it oil it at regular intervals, and wipe away any spills straight away it will last for years. If that doesn’t go with the look that you are trying to create have a look at a slab tech/composite style top, there’s a range of different colours and styles. Hope this is of help.
