How to fix a leaking / dripping tap?
Depends on the tap, if it is a quarter turn then you will need to change the cartridge but make sure that the cartridge is an identical replacement including length and no of spindles. If this is a tap that you turn over half turn then you will need to change the washer inside the tap and add a bit of silicon grease to help give it a smooth action.
What are the common causes of blocked drains?
This would be wipes even though a number of things that cause blockages from nappies, sanitary towels and kitchen roll but also found the plastic things they put on the rim of the WC drop off and fall into the pan, these do cause issues. If does come from the kitchen area then this would be grease and if the have a waste disposal then lack of water running through this when rice and pasta are put down there.
