Hi Mark, Many thanks for attending to our boiler on such an awful day. Should anything else go wrong with our system I have asked Ann to give you a call rather than rely on our suspect heating engineers. On the last two occasions when we had a problem with our heating system, the first engineer did not have a clue on how to set our thermostat. The second one that called said there was nothing wrong with our system. The you come along and, for the very first time, would you believe it, our heating system is actually working far more efficiently than before. Once we set our thermostat to the temperature desired, we wondered why the heating would go off once temperature was reached. And ..... we felt that the radiators never quite got hot enough. Yet you said the heating thermostat was set too high. Once again, we are truly grateful that you managed to resolve the situation to our complete satisfaction.

Where is the best place to install a new boiler?
Lots of factors come in to play with this question as a guild Boilers could be located in various rooms throughout a property, but most commonly they’re installed in either the kitchen, utility room. Or loft space , It should ideally be positioned on or next to an outside wall because by regulation all new boilers installed in a property have to be condensing, which means they generate condensation and a discharge pipe is therefore necessary.
How often should a boiler be serviced?
It is recommended that your boiler is checked every 12 months- if your boiler is still within the manufacture warranty then you would have to get your boiler serviced every 12 months in order to keep within the terms of the warranty - always make sure you keep any paperwork to prove that you have been servicing your boiler.
What is the Worcester Bosch boiler C1 fault / error code?
The C1 fault code for Worcester boilers relates to a fan that has stopped running. This isn’t to be confused with other boiler fault codes where the fan is running too fast, too slow, or hasn’t been recognised as working, before the boiler starts up. A Gas Safe engineer will be required to investigate the issue
