Have used for boiler servicing and repairs for a few years now. This job was to replace a pump that had stopped working after nearly 40 years. It had been scheduled for a few days later, but Keith was able to fit me in earlier than expected. This is not the first time I have used Tout plumbing and on each occasion I cannot find fault. This time it was a cold water tap in the kitchen that was rotating and not producing any water. The phone call for help was responded to quickly and in turn as was the problem. In fact 1st day reported, 2nd day sorted. This house is let to tenants. So it is necessary to liase with them on the most convenient time for a visit. This was all done satisfactorily with no intervention from myself. When you let a property and live some distance away this is just the sort of tradesman you want. Friendly, easy to talk to and gives concise solutions with options on cost. I would recommend.

Keith came to assist us with a small task with the toilet flush, we called on Saturday and he was out on Monday morning. Whilst he was here I asked if he could service the boiler, which he did straight away and he even had time to offer some advice with extra heating for a bedroom. On removing the boxing around the base of the toilet, it became apparent that although the cistern had been fully repaired, the soil pan connector seal was still leaking. Arranged for the boiler to be serviced off the back of a shower installation earlier this week. Due to a faulty fill valve in the toilet cistern I needed a plumber to fix the squeaking noise so phoned on the 26th July and job done on 27th. Keith was exceptionally helpful when the boiler broke down in our student house. There was snow so he could not get out during the Friday Saturday but he was helpful on the phone and as soon as he could he came and sorted the immmersion heaters for use until the boiler was replaced. He also sorted water overflowing onto the roof which could have frozen and caused flooding in the house. I am really happy to recommend him and will continue to use him for all my plumbing and heating jobs.

Tout Plumbing & Heating responded within 3 hours when we were suddenly without any hot water due a faulty thermal mixing valve. The exact replacement was not available locally so a near equivalent, albeit more exensive, was fitted by modifying the pipework. The whole job was efficiently completed in under one hour.
