What is the best combi boiler?
I always used to fit Worcester but after fitting a combi Baxi 800 iv never looked back. Those rubbish jigs and the fact they look a total monstrosity now ill try and swerve them as much as possible. Easy to fit. Great price. Free filter. What more do you need. 10 yr Warranty without the need to be accredited. Well done Baxi.

What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
Unvented cylinders free up valuable space in your property in regards to the fact you lose your Cold water storage tank and your small Feed and expansion tank, usually housed in your loft. The idea being they provide high pressure balanced hot and cold water to all outlets compared to an old open vented system. This is because unvented cylinders are directly supplied by the mains, but of course this depends on the strength of the mains in the first place. Id recommend an unvented cylinder in a property with 2 or more bathrooms for the simple reason no one wants to have there shower pressure reduced midway through as someone downstairs has decided to wash up The unvented system is completely sealed too, so the water is not at risk of contamination and you don’t have to worry about the water tank freezing throughout winter. A great option for many properties
