The replacement of our gas boiler with an air source heat pump, which required the replacement of most of our radiators, was carried out quickly and the quality of workmanship was excellent. The team were a pleasure to have in our home and there was minimal disruption despite the amount of work that needed to be done.

Got in touch with Smart Gas to arrange a yearly Gas Certificate on the property as always call was answered earliest date arranged. Arrived on time as usual carried out a complete Gas Safety check and promptly issued a new certificate. A very thorough and professional service.

We had our boiler replaced but also moved to the old water tank cupboard. Very professional job and efficient. I might have thought this work could take a few days but they arrived before 8, never stopped working all day and it was complete in a day. Protected flooring/carpets etc and removed all the waste at the end of the day

I have used the services of Smart Gas Plumbing and Heating several times now and in the past not just for this job but much larger jobs in several of my student properties. Having dealt with many tradespeople over previous years I would rate this company as one of the best. The team are punctual with their timekeeping and review all jobs from top to bottom offering advice and guidance on how to get the best from new installations to improving existing ones for cost effectiveness . Their prices are competitive and more importantly they do the work as and when planned in a neat and tidy fashion, if there are any issues no matter how small they go to attend at short notice. Would highly recommend to all landlords.

The engineer started work the minute he arrived. He was very pleasant and told us why the boiler may be losing pressure. After servicing the CH boiler he quickly fitted the new (digital) clock and demonstrated how to set it. The pressure issue is still being dealt with, hence the 4 stars for value. However, I feel confident that we will get to the bottom of this and solve the problem.
