Ray has serviced my central heating boiler and gas fires for several years now. He is excellent - that's why I keep returning to him. He is reliable, easily contactable, prompt, thorough and friendly. He explains whatever costs are involved and gives a thorough and helpful run down on what he is doing and why. There is never any mess after he has completed his work and I always know that I am getting great value for money - never had any reason to call him back because of problems. A true professional in every sense of the word - by far the best tradesman I have ever used. When the time comes for me to need a new boiler or gas fire there's only one person I will use! My parents boiler broke on Christmas day. I contacted Ray after the bank holiday and he went round the next day. Very efficient, professional and friendly service. As soon as the replacement part arrived, he was available to fit it. Would not hesitate to recommend his company.

Ray was a pleasant person but took on a job that he wasn't skilled for. The plumbing was carried out as agreed but the wooden floor he had to cut to access pipes is totally ruined. This turned out to be a 9 hour job and more than the £270 quoted. He supplied a 4btu radiator with thermastat control.

I had been without heating for three weeks and spent over £100 (unnecessarily) with my Home Emergency Cover for a new pump, which was not the solution and they couldn't diagnose the fault further and recommended I pay for a Power Flush (approx £700!) I asked Ray round for a 2nd opinion and I am so glad I did. Within five minutes of seeing my Baxi boiler he diagnosed the fault as a block in the filter within the boiler. It was fixed within half hour, no new parts needed. My heating is now working the best it has ever done! If it wasn't for Ray I would have spent £700 on that Power Flush which would not have worked!.

We found Ray on a local app. He was in touch within the hour and arranged to come around the following day. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue quickly and was very helpful in explaining the issue and how to fix it... Would definitely recommend Ray and we will have him back for future jobs

The service was very thorough and at every stage the engineer explained what he was doing and why. Usually when I have had services done previously they have been quick and I have often wondered why they cost so much (the engineer only being there about 15 minutes). This was different, however, potential faults were identified and explained and any problems rectified - and the engineer didn't leave until he was happy that all was well. It wasn't the cheapest service I've had but by far the best - and in the end you only get what you pay for, and this was worth every penny. The engineer was prompt - arriving when he said he would, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about his work. He also went to extremes to ensure that he worked carefully and cleanly, any mess was cleaned perfectly. An excellent professional and an excellent job. Many thanks.
