We generally charge £50 a radiator but this really does depend on the type of system you have. We only recommend a powerflush unless it’s totally necessary as this could make the system worse in some cases. We also tend to carry out a Thoroughflush which is a slightly different method with minimal amount of chemicals, this gives slightly more pressure to remove sludge from your system and find it works better on blockages due to the greater pressure.

In London the average cost of a powerflush is £400, if it's a place that has hard water the price could increase as it may need a higher dosage of chemicals depending upon how sludged up the system may be.

The cost of a powerflush will vary greatly depending upon where you are in the UK. In the south west, we usually look at around £400 for a standard powerflush of 7/8 radiators, but each system will be different and a detailed assessment will need to be carried out every time. We will also look at system future proofing with filters/deaerators, chemical protectors and water testing.

The cost of a power flush varies largely on the size of your heating system and which part of the country you live in. Most local heating engineers will offer you a free quotation which will give you a bespoke costing to suit your situation. Pricing is usually worked out per radiator plus a fee for chemicals.

Power flush of a heating system of 10 rads, chemicals and cert with all the correct water treatment readings will cost around £500 -£ 600 depending on area of the country that you live in. Done properly on older systems or systems that are having a new boiler installed a power flush can improve you system performance significantly.

Heatwize plumbing and heating does not recommend power flushes. Our opinion is they risk damaging the system by causing unnecessary leaks and a bit of a mess during the process. However, if you really feel you need one they can range in price from £300 to £600 depending on how large your house is, how many radiators you have and where you live.
