In small bathrooms it’s best to use lights whether LED or not it’s best to get to artificial daylight as much as possible. Having decent size mirrors gives off a decent reflection so lighter colours, cream, off whites are good. Also if no windows a fan is required to get rid of steam and moisture.

If you have no windows in your small bathroom then this obviously means that you will have no natural light present. The best option in our opinion would be to use a neutral light coloured paint to brighten the walls up. You can also have LED lights which brighten up any dark space and also adding LED mirrors will give you more light too. Be sure to have an extractor fan fitted for adequate ventilation if you do not have windows!

A light neutral colour would be best for a windowless bathroom, but well placed mirrors that are illuminated can help create an illusion of space and light too. This combined with well placed down lighters and finished with light coloured furnishings can all help to create a light and airy bathroom even one without windows.

A lighter colour paint would be better with having no windows but carefully placed downlights and leds can brighten up anyspace. You could have a some leds placed in the skirting boards, the bath panel or the vanity unit to give some low level lighting to help brighten the bathroom up.

A more lighter colour would be best, especially with no windows. A larger number of downlights than normal would also benefit the room. This would create the effect of a larger area, and help to make the room feel larger than it is. When choosing a paint for a bathroom, a more durable and water resistant paint would be best. This would help prevent mould and assist cleaning with being scrub resistant.

Either needs to be a light colour, or if you want a stylish hotel feel, then can go for a dark colour but with several down-lights, to lighten the room and avoid that dark gloomy cave feel. Make sure its a bathroom suitable tough paint, and that the room is well ventilated by a decent extractor.

For bathrooms without windows would suggest light colours and light shades. this will help the room feel more bright and also help reflect any light entering or in the room . would also recommend investing in paints designed for bathrooms and kitchens theses will help with holding colour as there designed for high humidity areas.

The best paint colour for a bathroom with no windows would be a light colour that will open up the room rather than a dark colour as these will make the room claustrophobic and small. Light and bright colours are the way to go if you can also check to make sure they work with high humidity and damp conditions would also be advantageous as extraction fans are never as good as they could be
