It really depends on what's required would you need wired or wireless system. We use scantronic for hardwired systems and Visonic PowerMaster and Pyronix enforcer for wireless systems these are all graded alarm systems which you can self monitor from your mobile phone and till date have never let us down.

No such thing as “best alarm system” More importantly is installing the “correct” alarm system. There are many fantastic systems on the market, from basic bells only alarms to police response video verification systems A good professional installer will listen to your requirements and design a system based around you and the property.

It all comes down to what you require and want from the system. For commercial I would suggest galaxy and for residential I would say pyronix or texecom just because they are easy to use for the customer and also easy for additional sensors the future if you want extra pirs or door contacts.

It really depends on what is required for the premises the alarm is for, personally I like the Galaxy systems for commercial premises and Texecom Premier elite or even a Castle Pyronix for domestic use, simply for the ease of use for the customer. Every system that is installed can be the best possible system out there at that time for that property if installed and programmed correctly.

There are no such thing as the best system. All systems are bespoke and designed around the property layout and the requirements of the insurer if it’s to be a graded system or the customer if they want to self monitor the system. Each system is different in relation to set up and functionality all of which must be in line with requirements for the premises they are being installed.

There is no best Alarm system, the system is as good as what the requirements are and the purpose it’s required for. The more factors added to the system to help detect intrusion is what is required. PIR sensors, Door Contacts, Glass Detectors and wall sensors and a stand-alone system will help protect your property.

it all comes down to your requirement of what you want you system to do and how you want it to work, for example of you an office with over 50 rooms over 5 floors on a high street compared to a domestic 3 bed house each require very different systems and different set up, other cost to consider would be if you require self monitoring or calling to an ARC or the police each system has to have it's own risk assessment and based on that risk assesment we can design, install and maintain you system

Secure I AM answered the question "What is the best burglar alarm system?"

There is no such things as the best burglar alarm system. Each of the main manufacturers supply a range of options which can be used to make a suitable alarm system for your property. That said, if you are looking at wireless, you need to think about 3 things. 1. Is the system 2 way wrt to device panel communications. 2.How signals may get from one area of a property to another, ie, signal repeaters. 3.Radio jamming, only a few manufacturers have radio frequency hoping to eliminate the chance of a radio signal being blocked. All systems should consist of equipment that if installed properly could meet the grades of alarm system in accordance of the current alarm standards. Petwise sensors are not recommended as a suitable secure solution, due to the way these sensors work as animals can cause false alarms and some burglars can bypass them relatively easily. If the alarm system is purchased from a diy outlet or is not graded then it should be avoided, please note that security grades only apply if installed to the standard they were designed for.

The best alarm is the one that protects your property or premises correctly, is professionally installed and maintained. There are many manufacturers on the market to choose from that are aimed at different sectors of the market. What works for a jewellers shop or a bank will be far to expensive and also way over the top for the average residential property. For domestic systems we like Texecom systems. They are reliable, well built and the wireless option is one of the best performing on the market. We would strongly recommend avoiding any DIY brands that can be bought in DIY chain shops or online. For wireless systems, always check the system utilises two way communication. This ensures that your alarm will alert you of any fault or battery failure, rather than just arming itself and leaving some or all areas unprotected. Cheap DIY grade systems do not have this facility.

There are many types of alarm manufacturers and each one is different. It’s all down to personal preference/ installer preference. Although there are many DIY alarm systems on the market these are open to easily being disabled and tampered with as they are simple systems to install intended to be fitted by anyone. They normally have batteries in them which have to be regularly changed to keep the systems functioning. A good quality professionally installed system is far superior to a DIY alarm. The installer can personalise the system to your property to give maximum security. Our preferred band of alarm system are Pyronix as we find they are fully customisable and offer a lot of good features such as connecting to your phone and giving you notifications.

No Single alarm system is the best, there is such a wide range out there its more about a risk assessment and what you want out of your system. A correctly installed, well specified alarm system will be the best to the owner regardless of what make it is. Always get a minimum of 3 quotes for your system, tell your specifier / sales person what you expect out of your alarm system and they can advise you on what system they think would suit your needs. Never be afraid to ask "Why that system and how does it benefit me.
