A Baxi boiler with an error code of e50 relates to a domestic hot water temperature sensor, these sensors are constantly changing temperature when in use, the sensor and cables should be checked. BoilerOne recommend you consult a gas safe registered engineer to diagnose the problem.

This is a hot water error. The most likely cause is a temperature sensing device malfunctioning. Not an overly massive problem and can be fixed quite easily baxi have service engineers that can assist at a set fee or alternatively any gas safe registered engineer such as ourselves with boiler diagnostic knowledge will be able to fix this issue.

E50 is a domestic hot water sensor fault. This is a common fault with Baxi boilers. Nothing to worry about. However I do recommend that you contact your local Baxi works member engineer to resolve the issue & they will have a more in depth knowledge of the problem. The hot water senser is also known as a thermistor sensor can be found near the diverter valve but again this job can only be done by a gas safe engineer or a baxi approved installer.
