E20 relates to a heating sensor fault, sometimes this can be reset using the left hand control knob. If you are getting this fault code on a regular basis it is advisable to get the boiler checked over and the sensor replaced by a gas safe engineer as eventually it will fail and may not reset.

A Baxi boiler with an error code of e20 relates to a central heating thermistor sensor fault, by having this thermistor sensor replaced it would normally clear the fault. The cables to this sensor should also be checked for wear. BoilerOne recommend you consult a gas safe registered engineer to diagnose the problem.

E20 fault is a Central Heating Thermistor fault. Sometimes a sensor may need replaced to clear this fault. This can only be done by a gas safe engineer & strongly recommend that you do not do this repair yourself as it can cause danger not only you but to others as well. It can also void your boilers warranty.

Hi, I’m Greg from Landlord & Homeowner Gas Services and I’m happy to answer this question for you. The E20 fault on a Baxi boiler is likely due to a flow NTC sensor fault The likely causes are a short circuit or an open circuit Hope this helps Kind regards Greg Landlord & Homeowner Gas Services
