Bells Heating & Gas answered the question "What is the Baxi boiler e110 fault / error code?"

E110 fault code is caused due to the limit stat being triggered generally due to the boiler overheating. This will protect major parts like a pump. General cause for this would be a blockage in the system or a faulty pump which will require the assistance of a gas engineer to repair the fault.

E110 relates to the Boiler hitting its maximum temperature and cutting itself out to stop damage, so its basically overheating, there are several causes for this, its generally a circulation fault so a system blockage, Air lock or faulty pump, in very rare cases it could be the temperature stat in the boiler faulty. If boiler has pressure and there are no obvious pockets of air in system (bleed all radiators) then a Gas Engineer will be required to repair the fault

A Baxi boiler with an error code of e110 is related to over heating, the boiler may fire as normal but the fault related to this could be a faulty pump not circulating to dissipate the heat from the boiler, a sludgy system or even a jammed zone valve could also be causes , we recommend you consult a gas safe registered engineer to diagnose the problem

It's a boiler overheat fault. Try bleeding your radiators to see if there's any air in the system, should clear the fault after resetting. Failing that check the condense pipe for blockages. It may need a new pump. A qualified gas safe heating engineer can determine the cause and test the pump too.

Error 110 or E1 10 will flash on your screen , this is a over heat fault with your boiler . It will require a breakdown engineer to attend and diagnose the issue as if it’s not fixed this will lead to major issues with the boiler . Can be one of several different issues causing the boiler to over heat and fault .
