Baxi boilers are extremely reliable, particularly the more recent additions to the Baxi range. As yet we have not encountered any recurring problems with the 400 or 600 range. The Platinum and Duotec both suffer with the flow restrictor in the return manifold getting blocked or sticking. This often results in the boiler showing a continuous demand for domestic hot water meaning it will not switch over to heating up the radiators. Also the divertor valves are prone to leaking, usually resulting in the motor becoming damaged.
