Dewsbury Developments Limited answered the question "What building regulations / height regulations are there for garden walls?"

Typically a wall to a property would be no higher than 1m to the front of the property and up to 2m high to the sides and the back of the property. This would be if both ground levels are the same height at both sides. If your ground level is higher you could take this measurement from the highest point. Unless you wanted to go down the planning application route to gain more height.
