Underfloor Heating cons are: costly installation methods, also warm up time can take longer than a radiator would. BoilerOne recommend you consult a verified plumber to advise on installation options.

Integral Smart Home answered the question "What are the pros and cons of underfloor heating?"

The pro’s are evenly heated zones with nice warm floors where you really need them, it’s efficient to run if used correctly & no ugly radiators on walls! The cons, slower to respond to temperature changes than radiators it is a system of set a desired temperature and leave it. No quick heating boost with underfloor heating. You should also give consideration to controls as it’s a true multi zone heating system you’ll want some smart controls as well and as Honeywell connected specialists we recommend and install Honeywell EvoHome

The Pro’s of underfloor heating are : The rooms in which you have underfloor are well heated evenly throughout (unlike with radiators) You will have more wall space as no need for radiators. It is inexpensive to run wet underfloor heating systems. A cold surface floor like tiles become warm to walk on. Underfloor heating retains its heat well once shut down. You can separate the controls from the heating and underfloor heating to come on / off separate times. You can fit most flooring types on top of underfloor heating The Cons: Expensive to fit underfloor heating compared to radiators. Can be harder to install in existing properties as the pipework is generally laid beneath screed before the flooring is fitted. You can buy thin wet underfloor heating to be fitted on top of existing concrete floors but again this becomes expensive. Underfloor heating can take longer to heat up a room so you would need to programme to heat on before you actually want the underfloor on. Once on though it retains its heat well.
