Depending on what style thermostat you have, so, for a hard wired wall mounted stat you can check the its working by simply turning from min to max and listen for a click, this tells you the current room temperature, either side of the click noise the boiler should turn off and on respectively. For a wireless thermostat the digital display screen will show a flame symbol when temperature is turned above or below room temperature. BoilerOne recommend you consult a gas safe registered engineer to diagnose the problem.
