How much value a fireplace would put on the house would depend on what is it being used for. Log/multi fuel burners are extremely popular at the minute, ya as a company have fitted many. Using your fire place for a gas or solid fuel burning appliance would significantly add value to the property compared to a bare chimney/ electric fire. It would all come down to personal preference. The profit would outweigh the cost of having a fire fitted.

Having a fireplace may add value, depending on several factors. For example how well has it been done, is it antique, is it traditional, is the fireplace open or does it have a gas/electric fire in place. We install many gas and electric fires in stunning fireplaces and they without doubt would add some value.
