Fabulous workers, never stopped, unbelievably knowledgeable about their trade and couldn’t do enough to get the job done in a clean, quick and tidy manner. The Power flush fetched out so much dirt from the system and then the fitting of the new boiler, pump and controller finished the installation. There was no mess whatsoever, they explained everything as they went along and even put all the packaging into the recycling.

Our combi boiler that had been converted to a system boiler had failed on numerous occasions and various so called plumbers had been sent from our insurance company to fix it. Numerous replaced parts, numerous fixes that did not last and no one seemed to know what the issue was, until that is Tom came. He identified the issue in short order, fixed it and made several recommendations with costs for each to maintain a long term fix. We decided to replace the boiler with a new system boiler and have the system power flushed to remove all the debris. There was no hard sell at any time, nor pressure to use Toms services, but we are glad we did. Toms price was competitive, the work planned in and Tom turned up exactly on time and was totally professional, extremely knowledgeable and thorough all the way through. Everything was explained in detail, the warranty sorted and everything left in good order. The whole experience was first class and I have no hesitation in recommending Tom

I contacted Tom after my boiler was displaying the F-1 fault. Tom promptly contacted me and offered to visit and diagnose the problem. Tom explained that the Heat Exchanger was faulty and needed replacing. He also noticed that the condenser pipe(installed by a previous engineer) was not installed properly and agreed to correct this aswell. Furthermore, he was punctual with his appointments and was very friendly. Many thanks for everything that you've done Tom.

I’m a single mum of 1.5year old twins so when my boiler broke it was hell! I rang one plumber from a different company who failed to turn up which added more stress. I then got in contact with these and spoke to Tom the next morning and he was really friendly and helpful and told me he could come out later that day and even worked around the fact that I would be working and took my parents number too so they could come and let him in. The work was competed perfectly and professionally, and I have hot water again! I would highly recommend to anyone :)

This is the second job Tom has completed for me and once again he completed the work to a high standard and he was professional throughout. Tom installed a smart heating system (Nest) and was able to find a solution to the issues particular to my boiler set up. Tom Oldfield, PMA Gas Solutions, was a very friendly and easy person. He is obviously very proud of his work and took the trouble to explain to me exactly what was needed after he found my radiators full of sludge. He explained clearly the problem and how he could rectify it, sending me a video to watch as to how the work would be carried out. He was very patient with me, answering any questions I had. He arrived to do the work exactly on time and was very clean and tidy. I left Tom to carry out the work but he kept in touch with me along the way so I knew exactly what was happening. Tom even sent photos and a video of the work as he performed it. Tom explained to me at the beginning that whilst he may not be the cheapest he was thorough. Having said that I believe the price was fair for what seemed to be a job well done.I would not hesitate to recommend Tom and PMA Gas Solutions.

Tom fitted a new boiler for us today and we took his advice and fitted a Baxi unit which looks a really good product with a 7 year warranty. Tom was available straight away to come and look at the boiler, just what you need with when you have no heating and hot water in the middle of winter. He was friendly from the start explaining what to do on the local heroes website. When he came he was efficient and friendly got the boiler working with just a little oil. Then next day the boiler died again I text Tom and he came over as quick as he could. He ordered the part and within 2 days we were warm again. We have had bad experiences before with heating engineers but this service was second to none. We would not hesitate to use his service again or recommend to a friend.

They arrived at the time they stated removing the old boiler and replacing it with a new combi boiler followed by flushing out the system. They were very friendly and worked hard cleaning up after they had finished leaving everything tidy. Before leaving the boiler and the new thermostat control and menu were fully explained. I would recommend them to anyone with a heating problem.

Tom arrived yesterday to do a complete power flush of the heating system while a new boiler was being fitted. I felt very lucky to have such a courteous and highly skilled and knowledgeable engineer sort out my heating system. The job was completed in the timescales and costs set out beforehand and Tom was excellent in his commucation with me as the customer. He ensured I understood what was being done and how this would impact the gas and water supplies in my home during the process of the installation. The installation itself was completed to a high standard and mess/disruption was kept to a minimum. Despite needing some scaffolding outside during the installation this didn’t cause him any difficulties or delays. It was also a bonus to have the central heating system fully flushed during the process of the boiler install which has been beneficial in the long run. I’ve had no problems with the boiler unit since the install and all the work was done to a high standard. A very satisfied customer; Tom is highly recommended. A friendly and communicative guy who did a superb job.

PMA installed a boiler for us into a new location in the attic with necessary pipework without a problem. Tom was very professional, helpful and made us feel at ease throughout quite a large job, happily answering any questions we had for him. Tom was very tidy throughout, always mindful of our home, and tidied as he went. He explained clearly the work he did, as well as explaining how to use our new nest thermostat. All in all, a new boiler installed with a new flue hole through the attic wall, new pipework, whole system powerflush and new thermostat. We expected a large disruptive piece of work and were left extremely happy when it was all taken on without a hitch. A hardworking, reliable and very friendly outfit, also considerate of our neighbours during a large job. I would recommend this company to anyone as a very professional, friendly and hardworking outfit.

Tom gave honest advise and a few options on how to improve my heating system. I opted to go for a powerflush and clean my existing radiators. He also alter some pipework and fitted a filter to stop the sludge coming back.very clean and tidy and I would recommend him to anyone. I could not believe the dirt that came out of my radiators!

No heat or hot water for 4 days in the cold weather with 2 young children. Thankfully someone put me in touch with Tom, I spoke to him at 5.30 and an hour later he was at my house. He brought parts with him so was able to fix the initial problem straight away, but then he detected a gas leak. Tom didn’t have the part on him but went home and offered to come back that night, little ones were in bed so I declined. When he did come back he did a fantastic job and sorted the boiler and gave it its first proper service in 15 years. So impressed and thankful

Highly recommended, ex-baxi engineer. Gave him details of the fault over the phone which gave him an idea of the issue. He sent me a quote based on the parts he expected to use very promptly. When he arrived to do the job he was very friendly and got straight on with checking the boiler out! The repair was done promptly, and he also did a safety check of the boiler which I was sent a copy of. Not all the parts quoted for were required for the repair, so the bill was amended to remove them. Would highly recommend and use again
