When is the best time to service a boiler?
The best time to have your boiler serviced is during the late summer months. This makes sure everything is working and in tip top condition ready for the cold weather. If there’s any issues that need addressing we can take care of any maintenance issues with limited disruption.
Why service a boiler? What are the benefits of boiler servicing?
When servicing the boiler you are making sure its still running safely and will not cause harm to anyone. We also clean the burner and inside the casing to keep from build up of soots and debris which keeps the boiler running efficiently and save money on bills. Servicing will also help prevent future faults which may occur.
Will a boiler service fix my faulty boiler?
A boiler service could fix a boiler fault but not always. Some issues like low heating pressure can be sorted on the visit. A boiler service is to check the safety controls of the boiler, clean the burner if necessary, and make sure the boiler is running safely to the manufactures specification. If not we can advise you on what the best plan of action is.
