Excellent bathroom install completed to a high standard and on schedule posted 02/11/2022

Neil McKay at Plumbfaster fitted a new bathroom for me, including a bath, sink unit, toilet and steam shower. He also installed a flush fitting TV in the wall connected to Sonos ceiling speakers and two downlit wall recesses. I couldn’t be happier with the work completed by Neil and his team which consisted of plumbers, tilers, joiner, electrician, plasterer and painter. Neil managed the entire project and ensured the trades were on site exactly when they were needed and that everything was completed to Neil's high standard and on schedule. I must mention that his attention to detail is second to none and he discussed the install with me throughout so I always knew what was happening. He also came up with suggestions which ultimately made the finished bathroom better, for example changing the floor of the steam shower to a wet room floor instead of a shower tray. If any issues arose, Neil dealt with them competently; for example when the shower was initially tested there was hardly any water flowing. Neil took advice from Stuart Turner (existing Positive head pump manufacturer) and Hans Grohe and it turned out I had the wrong type of pump. Within 2 hours a new Negative head pump was bought and installed and the shower works perfectly. This is one of the biggest projects I have done and I am extremely happy it was Neil doing it as he is highly professional, approachable and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a bathroom installation.

Neil and his team transformed two ancient, awkward bathrooms into lovely spaces where everything works beautifully. From start to finish, we knew what would happen and when. Every single aspect of the job was managed efficiently, and to a very high standard. Faced with a dry rot problem, Neil managed the whole project for us, which was very reassuring. All of the team were polite, friendly, and reliable. I highly recommend Plumbfaster - you won't do better!

My old boiler, which hadn't been serviced properly in years, had given up completely. Neil got it going temporarily, ordered the necessary parts later in the afternoon, and fitted them the next day. He was efficient, friendly, and highly competent. Just hope I can get him when I need him again!

We needed assistance as our boiler was starting to give up, Neil came out and done the initials checks and clean, he quickly identified that it needed a bit more work, put us into the diary very quickly and came back and sorted the boiler right out. No mess, nothing was a hassle for Neil or his son and they were very friendly and polite. Now I know my boiler is in capable hands I will be using them again in the future to service it.

High quality job done by Neil, came to the property did not quote for any unnecessary work nor leave things out. Listened to our needs for hot water and heating. Problems found caused the original builders of the property were solved in the best way and with the least amount of mess possible. He drove through the snow to get here and left us with a toast warm home. Would recommend anytime

Neil and his team were exemplary tradesmen, where nothing was too much trouble. Even though we changed our mind about several things as we went along, Neil's patience and tolerance, able to explain and guide us through the tricky decisions. The attention to detail was second to none, and even the couple of tiny 'snagging' issues at the end were quickly and professionally addressed. I cannot overstress how highly I would recommend Plumbfaster.

We are extremely happy with our new bathroom which involved removing a bath and installing a shower, as well as moving the toilet. Neil and team arrived on time each day, did a great job and completed it as planned. Neil used FaceTime to show problems as they arose and how they proposed to deal with them (I was off-site). They were efficient and tidy and left us with a superb bathroom in a relatively small space.

Neil completely stripped out the existing bathroom and refitted shower, sinks and toilet. He project managed the plastering and tiling work. All was completed to a very high standard. Neil checked with us at all stages of the work and was happy to readjust items where we requested. We would highly recommend Neil for all plumbing work and will use him in the future.
