I've used them for a few years now and find them to be really excellent - reliable, efficient, friendly. But their IT system is awful. I had so many automated emails about the appointment all with different dates and times (some even for next year), which was obviously confusing. In the end I just texted the guy to check. And then after the work was done I had a load of emails with the invoice, and one even saying I'd paid it when I hadn't.

My 12 year old boiler stopped heating overnight 17/18 Jan 2023 (still had hot water). My wife found Ph Plumbing on Neighbours with a lot of good reviews so gave them a call. Jake turned up to diagnose the problem early evening 18th but was unable to fix it needing spare parts (typical for an old boiler). Promised to return 19th and turned up 2 hours earlier than expected (after texting). In the end the job required 3 spare parts but they had the system up and running before they left. Very pleasant and professional and the bill ended up cheaper than expected. Would highly recommend them and I am putting them in my contacts after removing 3 others who could not even be bothered to return my texts/messages.

It was really easy to book in the boiler service by email and communication was great. The engineer turned up on time, wore a face mask and was friendly and helpful. Our boiler is 20 years old and we are looking to replace it but at no point did the engineer try and sell to us. PH plumbing & heating have looked after my heating system for circa 15 years. They are a pleasure to work with - always punctual, very knowledgeable, friendly and clear up once the job is finished. Paul & Fred have worked on our unvented home heating system for many years. Annual service was completed professionally. Paul was able deftly to swap out a seeping TVR (thermostatic radiator valve) WITHOUT the expense of draining the whole system. I was a tad worried about our new solid oak flooring but not a drop was spilt. One should only let a confident experienced plumber do this. I would never use anyone else (unless they raise their prices!)

I want to leave a terrible review so no one else uses them ... I’ve used Ph plumbing a number of times. We have a few rental properties and there’s always something. This time they sorted a problem at my own home. Really impressed with them as a company. I’d like to add that they smell, have long beards, scratch and wear Jesus sandals. Don’t use them.

Boiler would not fire up so a call to Paul who asked a few simple questions and quickly diagnosed the likely fault to be a gas valve malfunction. The stockist did not have a replacement but Paul got one the next day, made sure the valve was indeed faulty and fitted the new one. My service on the boiler was due in a couple of weeks so Paul did that as well.

Thought we had a problem with boiler but it turned out that there was a problem with cold water getting into the hot system at the bath taps. Ph soon found out what was wrong and fixed it for me fairly quickly. Will always use them for any plumbing or heating problems.

Our 30 year old boiler needed replacing and PH Plumbing did the job quickly for us. It was a difficult job in places as there were various access issues with the flue, but PH got the job done with minimal extra cost. The water in the system had become very dirty and PH went the extra mile to clean it, even coming back another day to finish off the job. House is toasty warm now and we're really pleased with the work. Paul & Fred are nice people to have around too.

A tricky job I think, this is a pretty old house- but we were left with a warm house and a combi boiler for the first time, and lovely hot shower, it's as if we had bought a power shower as well. Rang Paul on a Fri eve after my tenants had contacted me to say their boiler had broken down. He rang them and after they descibed the problem was able to reassure them that he would be there the following morning to fix the problem and, if required, he would be able to get parts then. He rang me back to tell me his plan, saying if I insisted he would go that evening, but if it needed parts he wouldn't be able to fix it and obviously this would incur an unnecessary emergency call out fee. Paul arrived on time the Saturday morning as promised and fixed the problem. One very happy tenant and landlord too!!

Paul visited my house and gave me a clear written quote very promptly, and was happy to discuss different options with me. Paul and his team started and completed the work on the dates as planned. They made a big job seem straight forward and kept me updated throughout. Radiators were installed in every room and new boiler in the kitchen- everything was left tidy. Once finished they made sure I was happy and knew how everything worked. They also ensured everything was signed off and warranty registered etc which saved me doing this. Paul came out to talk through the options first and I did not feel any sense of 'hard sell' at all. He let us take our time to decide which option to go for. Pointing out but not pressing alternatives on us. Paul came out at a time that suited me to check the radiators first. He drained and put a chemical treatment in and that had an effect by the next day. Just over a week later we had the boiler replaced by Paul and his team. They turned up on time and worked hard all day to get the old boiler out and the new one installed. They were all very polite and professional. I would recommend the to do an excellent job.
