How often should a house be rewired?
I your buying a house and the electrics are over 20 years old and you plan on doing a lot of work ie plastering rooms and putting in new kitchens and bathroom then I would defo recommend a rewire. or if the property starts having issue or they are dangerous and existing wiring is old the depending on how bad the issues are then I would again reccomend a rewire.
What is the average cost to rewire a house?
A unoccupied house 2 to 3 bed would start at about £3000 this would include standard white accessories, 18th edition board, smokes. additional charges would occur if wanted to add spots, usb sockets, outside lights and sockets. 4 beds would then move to the £4000 mark and so on.
