Matthew and later Gareth spent ages chasing down the faults that greeted us upon our return from a couple of days away. Responded to our call of no electric within 90 minutes, spent most of the afternoon diligently trying to resolve the issues and did - also identified some additional work which is essential. Professional, friendly and above all reassuring.

Have spent the past 6 months chasing Gareth Bennett to come back and rectify faulty smoke alarms that he fitted which had a 10 year battery life and guaranteed by him and they charged 180 to fit. They went faulty after 5 months. Unfortunately after many promises from him and some of his colleagues they have failed to respond. My nephews house now has 3 children under 5 with no smoke alarms working. The quality of the other work they did was of a very good standard and I can't fault it unfortunately they don't seem to respond when things go faulty so for that reason I cannot recommend this company

The headline says it all basically, Matthew and his colleagues carried out a rewire on a rental property that I own. Came out, gave a decent price and stuck to it. Did a few little extras while they were there too! Tennant informed me that they were friendly, polite and professional at all times. What more could you ask for? Gareth was wonderful, really thorough and efficient. He was able to identify and resolve the problem and power was restored. He was also really friendly and kind and as a single female I felt very comfortable having him in my home, which has not always been the case with tradespeople. What is the average cost to rewire a house?
This is by far the most common question we get asked and when someone is enquiring about a Rewire. And the answer is always the same a Rewire is a unique quote for everyone’s individual needs. So one customers quote is not the same as another’s due to individual requirements more sockets, lights, Downlights etc the best thing a customer can do is get 3 quotes from 3 reputable company’s and find a comfortable price there happy with.

When asking what brands are better there is no real answer to this question. the question should be, what type and size consumer unit do I need for my distribution of circuits? What location and design do I need to be inkeeping with my house? These are better questions. There are several brands out there that make a nice looking consumer units like Schneider, Hager etc these boards are great if you have the room available or are on display but can be pricey dependant on the design and size of the house. There are also several brands out there that make smaller scale consumer units like Wylex and mk etc these are great if your replacing in a small area or cupboard were size is an issue. To answer the question there are a number or board manufacturers out there that shine in different ways but what is best for you is not always what is best for the next job.
