Why is my sink not draining?
Most causes of blockages in pipework are grime, debri. Kitchen sink waste pipework can get food and fats in the waste pipe that over time can lead to blockages. Shower cubicle and bath waste can get a build up over the years of dirt, shampoo that lines the insides of the pipe. A chemical cleaner can be added and flush through with warm water and the use of a plunger
Why is there no water coming from my hot tap?
Firstly check is there hot water from the other outlets . If it’s the one tap that’s the issue it is more than likely the tap insides. If it’s traditional tap insides with a washer it’s possible the insides have worked loose from there seating. If it’s a cartridge type it could be the cartridge has stuck shut . Other possibilities could be a air lock.
How to thaw a frozen drain pipe?
Use warm water on any frozen pipes and not boiling water as it can split the pipe . You may have to repeat the process a few times . Secondly normally when a pipe freezes it’s due to a incorrect installation, not lagged and a under sized pipes if it’s outside on a condensate pipe etc
