Nigel kept me informed/updated regularly about date and time of arrival to start the job, he knew exactly what needed doing and completed the job in the expected time. A very pleasant man to do business with, and a very tidy worker. The new gates are fitted into a frame and look good, all the old gates and posts were cleared away there was no rubbish left behind. I would deal with N.B Carpentry Ltd again, I thought the price was fair and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Nigel has completed 3 or 4 projects for us now, and the standard of work is always beyond compare. He is good value for money we feel, but most importantly, for us, he does what he says he will do, on time.

The job was to restore an original 1800s wooden floor. The room was 30m sq and not in a great condition. The job involved nailing down all the boards (which were loose). Swapping some of the boards around and installing a few new planks where they would be hidden under kitchen units. Then sanding up the flooring, which included removing a thick layer of glue residue from a carpet that had previously sat on top) and then sealing the floor with a natural wood seal. We're incredibly happy with the job. Nigel is one of the most pleasant tradesman we've worked with. He's polite, he respects that he is working in your home and doesn't intrude on life within the house when working. If he says he's going to do something then he does. You can trust him to do be honest with you and follow through on commitments. There were a few challenges for Nigel with the job. Such as needing to use different nails due to the boards. Having to go further to hire the sander etc. Nigel solved all the problems and just got on with things. He also billed us as per the quotation. The floor looks fantastic and we're really happy. We've already asked Nigel to come back and complete other works within the house. So thank you Nigel. We're very happy to give a recommendation of 5*s all round.

Nigel completed the installation of our worktops way beyond the level of quality of finish we believed was possible. He was able to easily cope with the difficult demands of our kitchen walls and floor levels and the finish is outstanding. We could have asked for more, thank you.
