I have used James's services for several years now and he is the consummate professional. On this occasion, my boiler failed right on top of Christmas and James's response was amazing. Not only did he manage to source the boiler I needed with 2 days to spare, he also turned out on a Christmas Bank Holiday to install it for me, ensuring that my son and daughter in law (who is expecting their first baby) were not without heating and hot water over Christmas. First of all what a nice guy. Friendly, genuine, honest. I had 2 problems, blocked drain at washing machine outlet in a really tight space in utility room and boiler issues with valves not shutting off. James came in and knew exactly what to do, no messing around just got straight to it and sorted in half a day. A really complex job that would have had many a tradesman coming back another day to finish. James was also really forthcoming with information as to what was wrong with the boiler - he knew his stuff and was very honest. I left him alone in my house while I went on school run and he just cracked on with it - very trustworthy. Workspace was spotless after he had finished. Really nice guy, sensational tradesman who obviously takes a lot of pride in his work. Price was very good considering the amount of work involved in completing the job. I would highly recommend JCO for all your Plumbing and Heating needs!

Fault with the heating/hot water system at my elderly parents' house, whereby you could only get hot water if the central heating was on as well (not ideal in the middle of summer). Rang James, who recently replaced a tap at their home and he said he could come and look at the problem straight away. He thought he knew what was wrong and rang to confirm that it was a valve which needed replacing: said he could do it there and then if I wished, despite it being early evening by then. What a star - he spent the next few hours draining down the system and replacing the valve, so that they now have hot water again. Couldn't have asked for better service.

James has solved my problems with two showers and a pump - for a shower and bath which is required to pump the water for both. He was very professional in his attitude, his knowledge,his timekeeping and in ensuring evrything was left clean and tidy afterwards. One of the jobs proved to be more difficult than originally expected however he kept me informed all the way through and resolved the problem resulting in a very happy customer. When the initial same replacement pump would not work James explained why we needed a more expensive and different type of pump, when this still would not work he explained what he thought the problem was and resolved it in a matter of minutes by replacing the shower and then refitting the less expensive pump which now all works perfectly fine. I will not hesitate to recommend James to anyone, he is a shining example of a truly professional who cares not just about the service he provides but about his customers as well. I had bought a tap and plug to be fitted onto the basin in the bathroom. The plumber knew about the tap but did not know that there was a plug to fit, but he was quite happy to do this. Although, the plug needed a different fitting to the normal ones and the plumber went to get one and returned with the required item. The job was finished promptly and he cleared up after himself. I have used this plumber before and highly recommend him.

James gave excellent support to diagnose and resolve an on-going long-term background leak to our boiler that we were unaware of. The leak has left a superficial pipe corrosion issue which James noticed and he recommended this should also be replaced in the short term to ensure the continued safety of the boiler. He ordered the replacement pipe today and is coming back to complete that repair early next week. James worked efficiently, tidily and provided clear explanations and updates as to what he was doing at every stage - including the cost.
