Matt has fixed and serviced our boiler two years in a row and I can't recommend him highly enough. He provides regular updates before carrying out the job and explains everything in detail during and when completing the work. We're planning to replace our boiler next year and will be asking HeatTech to carry this out for us.

I renovated my bungalow and contacted Matt to get prices and timescales to complete all plumbing and heating work required. He was very reliable, efficient and his prices were very competitive. All the work was completed during this pandemic and Matt gave me reassurance and displayed all hygiene/safety measures in my home. I wouldn’t use any other plumber/heating engineer now and have recommended him to various family & friends who have equally raved about his work. Thankyou again Matt.

2 years ago, whilst building our extension, my husband hit a gas pipe while nailing down the floor boards. He went online and basically phoned the closest gas engineer. We were both pleased with how helpful he was. We were needing to get our boiler serviced, so the other week I went online and found HeatTech, and I booked hoping it was the same company from 2 years ago. It was and again he was very efficient. Our boiler was actually dangerous due to a previous engineer error (not HeatTech). This was picked up straight away and explained to me. It was a simple fix and all is now in order. We will be using HeatTech in future for boiler servicing and any work where we need a gas engineer.

Amazing! Matt visited at very short notice as we had no heating/hot water and water was soaking onto our carpet. First experience with HeatTech and will be the first of many. Would not even look around at competitors now - highly recommend Matt. Words fail me but can say that I have found my 'forever tradesman'. Already planning our next project!

Matt cane out and gave such a professional service takes pride in his profession. He has removed 3 radiators and installed 2 new design radiators in my home and cleaned up behind him . Matt was originally requested to take a look at our current (problematic) boiler with potential to quote for replacement with something more efficient. Arrived on time and was happy to make a few repairs to get us heat and water again. We decided to go for a replacement system for peace of mind. Matt provided a reasonable quote and had the job completed in a few days. Really happy with the service and finish, was happy to tell us exactly what he would be doing etc, and left the place pretty tidy afterwards. Really nice guy with a lot of knowledge and left us confident that if anything were to go wrong, that he would put it right. Would definitely use Matt again and would happily recommend him to friends and family.

Matt came and quoted to supply and fit 3 new radiators. Agreed when work would be done and Matt arrived when he said he would, worked all afternoon and tidied up when work complete. Tested that everything was working before he left. Very pleased with his work and cost was competitive compared to others. Would certainly use again and would recommend to others.

Where is the best place to install a new boiler?
Central heating boilers nowadays are quite versatile and can be sited in a variety of locations. Installation is usually quickest and less expensive if your new boiler can be sited on an external wall, away from a neighbouring boundary so the flue can exit horizontally. A suitable foul water drain is also needed for the boilers condensate discharge pipe. Traditionally boilers are often sited in the kitchen, utility room or upstairs airing cupboard. Boilers are ever increasingly getting smaller, quieter and safer, meaning they can be installed in kitchen cupboards and in some cases bedroom cupboards, though great thought should be taken to the practicality's of this and if the boiler being used late at nigh or early in the morning could disturb family members or guests. provided there is a permanent ladder, suitable flooring and a working light your new boiler can be installed in the roof space. this suits many customers but do be aware that you may need to access the boiler should there be a fault, to top up the system pressure or adjust the timer assuming these aren't fitted remotely elsewhere.
Why is my Baxi boiler not firing up?
Your Baxi boiler could have stopped working for various reasons. First check you have any external controls such as thermostats and timers turned on and calling for heat, then check the dials on the boiler have not been switched down low or off. If the boiler is flashing a fault code you can try a reset by pressing the reset button, check the gas supply is on by trying another gas appliance or checking the emergency control valve at the meter is in the on position, if you have a prepayment meter check this has credit and is displaying "on". If these steps still don't rectify your problem you should seek profesional advice from a Gas Safe Registered heating engineer
What is the best Worcester Bosch boiler for a 2-3 bedroom house?
Which ever Worcester Bosch boiler you decide on would depend on a few factors regarding you and your home. For a typical 2-3 bedroom house with 1 bath room a 25kw model would be adequate. If your budget and incoming mains water flow rates allow, it is advisable to opt for the larger 30kw models. These will provide a better hot water flow rate, particularly in the winter months. Once you have decided your output you need to decide on a model. If your boiler will be situated in a kitchen wall unit you may want to go for a compact version but if you have the space you can choose from the i or CDi classic models.
