Our old boiler broke down and needed replacing and for various reasons due to the age and location of the old boiler this was not a straight forward replacement job. As a result some firms we contacted did not want to do the work while others wanted to take the easy option, for them, of radically changing the installation. Only a couple of firms were willing to put in the effort to work out how to keep things basically as they were. Of these Heat Eco/Michael was the one that came up with our preferred solution and also a very competitive price. In order to minimise the disruption he recommended a boiler that we had never heard of (Atag ic35 Economiser Plus) as it's size and efficiency meant it could easily be installed in the same location as the old boiler. Initially this was a bit of a concern as everyone else was sticking with the well known makes of boiler, Worcester Bosch & Vaillant, but after doing some research on the internet and finding that Atag had been making boilers for 70 years, were extremely well rated on Trustpilot and came with a 10 year guarantee as standard (with options to extend to 12 or 14 years) we decided that this would not be a problem. When Michael fitted the boiler he worked quickly and efficiently while causing minimal disruption. We would definitely recommend his company to anyone else wanting a boiler replacement.

Contacted Mike to service our boiler which turned out to be in a very bad state and was condemned. He provided a quote for a replacement boiler on the same day and was able to install it within 3 working days (would've been quicker if the boiler had been delivered to him on time). The job was completed in a few hours and the place was tidy after the job. Follow up service also very good when one of the radiators wouldn't get hot and he was able to sort that out quickly.

We had a leak in one of our heating pipes stored under the floor and for few days without heating. We were searching for someone who would do the job, but we had been quoted to high. We came accidentally to Mikes contact and explained our mishap that pipe has a leak, boiler was heavily dripping and radiators operating peculiar as they get filled with air constantly. We thought we would have to pay for new boiler a fortune as for the rest of the works but when Mike told us that boiler hasn’t been serviced and that only small part have to be replaced but not whole boiler we were at ease. We started to bread lighter. He recommended to replace all underfloor heating pipes as they were in poor condition which turned to be more than accurate as almost all pipes, old more than thirty years, had burst holes and were leaking on different spots heavily. We agreed to his quote. Mike purchased all necessary materials and stared next day to replace all the pipes as our old radiators. Work was completed in less then a day. What we really liked it was his efficiency, honesty, and proficiency in his work. He knew what parts, which pipes to order, how and where to depose of old radiators and waste without asking us for all those things how to proceed. We agreed on price and work and Mike carried out brilliantly. After work on pipes he replaced some plastic part on our boiler which was cause of leakage and installed new thermostat. All in all, he saved us a lot of money, time and stress. Now we have heating back. I would recommend his work definitely.

We have used MJR Multi-Trade for all our plumbing/heating work in recent years and have always been delighted with their work in every respect. To the point where I do not bother asking other companies to quote but just call MJR directly. We have found the work to be excellent, the advice before installation valuable and objective. Mike advised us on ordering the materials which helped us keep the price down; he arranged for a really good plasterer to put in a new ceiling. Mike made an excellent job of the refurbishment, including all the tiling. He worked around the flooring fitter so that we were able to integrate a new floor into the design. This is the second major job we have had him do for us (New boiler system a couple of years ago); we are very pleased with his service. We thoroughly recommend him.

Michael came out quoted and started the work right there with very short notice as the plaster was coming in the very next day. Stripped out the pipes from the walls. And first fixed electrics ready for the plaster he will be back in the new year to finish off.
