What is the best type of flooring for a bathroom?
In a special location like this it is advisable to use a non slip tile, as the floor will be getting water on it and if a glazed tile is used they tend to get very slippery when wet and will be a hazard in the bathroom for anyone using it. The majority of the none slip tiles will have to be sealed to protect them to stop any unwanted staining of liquids or dust getting through the tile.
What is the best way to update bathroom tiles without replacing them?
The best way to do this would be to remove the grout and replace with new, while either using a good tile cleaning solution to get them back to as new as you can or by using a good tile paint, this way you could even change the colour of the tile which would give you the appearance of having new tiles all together.
