Very understanding, willing to come to assess problem as soon as able.(& the quickest out of the 4 Gas/fitters/plumbers I contacted) Couldn't believe how soon the job was completed...felt I could totally trust the guys. Clearly made an effort to leave things tidy, after completing the job. Also, willing to return, in the evening, to explain how the new boiler functions, as I was at work, when they fitted it. New Boiler and pipework looking very smart. Thank you Enflame !!

Why does the pressure keep dropping on my combi boiler?
Pressure dropping in your boiler can be a number of reasons. The most common answer is that the system has a leak which could be on pipework, radiators, or boiler, also faulty parts such as the pressure relief valve or an expansion vessel will also give you the dropping pressure issues.
What is the best combi boiler for a 2-3 bedroom house?
We have found the most popular choice of combi boiler to be Baxi 630 for 2/3 bedroom houses. Baxi claim to have to have a 12.2 litres per min on hot water demand but the main factor is providing the mains water pressure to the property is of adequate pressure to begin with. Having fitted the Baxi duo-etc and Platinum combi boiler over the 10 years we have found them to be quite robust with little complaint if any at all. As a Baxi approved installer we decided to change to Baxi 630 as a preferred engineered choice based on the fact of its size as It can easily fit into a kitchen cupboard and is lighter than the duo-etc/Platinum combination boiler range. Also a big factor is the warranty is 7 years labour and parts with the 10 years option coming soon in Autumn 2019. Most combination boilers can come with the same warranties but we have found with little support and limited terms and conditions from the manufacturers but as with Baxi it’s usually no quibble putting its Baxi Approved engineers and customers a priority.
What are the benefits of installing an unvented cylinder?
The main benefits of having a unvented hot water system is you can have stored hot water at mains hot water pressure to all hot water outlets. The old vented systems relies on gravity to supply your hot water to a storage tank which most of the time was pretty poor pressure for your hot water supply to your taps. Another advantage is the fact you don’t need tanks in the loft and you can fit an unvented cylinder anywhere as long as you have water supply, so you can great more space in the home as well as have a more efficient hot water system. Also most new unvented cylinders claim to only have a 1 degree drop in temperatures of the whole tank if not heated in 24 hours so basically your not heating up the same body of water over and over again as more commonly you did with old copper cylinders that were used on the gravity fed system as all the unvented tanks are insulated and stainless steel.

When ever I have had a problem, always been a fast and professional fix, followed by any recommendations if needed when fixing preventing any potential issues. All work ive had completed, never needed further works as such a great service and good fix the first time.
