What's the best type of conservatory roof?
Hi There are several different roof designs that vary depending on your needs. I would highly recommend a glass roof instead of the more common plastic panels as they are a lot more efficient. A glass roof is more expensive to purchase but is really worth it in the long term as regards to its heat efficiency, which in tern cuts down on your heating bills and makes it a lot more of a usable room. Why does my kitchen sink smell like rotten eggs?
As already stated an off the shelf drain cleaner should solve this issue, if not then the trap needs to be taken apart and cleaned out. This is not too difficult as the just I screw from the waste pipe under the sink itself. Normally something like MR Muscle sink and drain cleaner is the best option.
Do you need footings for a conservatory?
You do need footings for a conservatory if you are having a dwarf wall type. These footings would need to be 900 deep. Then built up to damp and then your oversight or base can be poured. You also need to insulate the floor pad by installing cellutex or similar product under the concrete then cover over in visqueen this helps a lot with heat loss and is compliant with current regs.

Dan has just completed our new build downstairs bathroom. We can’t recommend him enough. Andy built the new structure, and even though the digger had to come through our utility and office, disruption and mess were always kept to a minimum. The bricks chosen are an ideal match to the existing house. We were always given advice by Dan on our choice of the items we bought. As in all builds we kept adding other items like new worktop and sink in the utility, new radiators in the utility and office area, new kitchen tap, a flipperscreen attached to the shower upstairs. At no time did he look aggravated at our increased work load. We know now that we have someone that we can recommend and call on for work in the future, not forgetting to mention Howard, his Father. We made a very good choice, highly recommended.
