Lewis provided a great service and I'd thoroughly recommend him. He communicated really well and was very accommodating when I had to reschedule twice due to Covid. He fit six smart Wiser radiator thermostats for us, and replaced one radiator valve we didn't know was broken. His prices were very reasonable - far lower than quoted by a different plumber who tried to get us to pay for all sorts of extras - and he took the time to explain how to use the system and checked it was all working properly. Tidied up after so you wouldn't know he'd been there.

We had a small, slow, but problematic leak on a built-in toilet. A previous plumber had come twice (and cancelled at least twice/said he'll come 'when he's free') to attempt to repair and failed both times. Lewis turned up on the day he said he would, immediately did more investigation work than on either of the previous plumber's visits and fixed the issue on-site. He was friendly, punctual, informative and got the job done first time, all for a decent price. 100% would recommend/will use again.

We always use Lewis and Cliff Plumbing for our annual boiler service. Upon inspection it was noted that the boiler needed a repair, as it was still under guarantee Lewis contacted the manufacturer explained the problem and an engineer was booked for the next day. Also minor problems with toilet leaks and cistern were resolved in a prompt and courteous manner. Once again I would have no hesitation in recommending Lewis and Cliff Plumbing.

We had a sudden burst pipe and flood in the downstairs bathroom. We called Lewis and luckily he was working close by and quickly came round to replaced the flexible pipe. A few days later he replaced another pipe and attended to problems we had with taps in the bath and sink. Everything was explained clearly and the job was completed in a prompt, courteous and tidy manner. We would have no doubt in highly recommending Lewis and Cliff Plumbing and Heating Limited.

Lewis installed a new utility room and en suite bathroom in early 2021. He and his team were thoroughly professional throughout, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Communications were excellent, and Lewis always took great care to ensure he understood what was wanted. Where we were uncertain he made many thoughtful suggestions. I have been using Cliff Plumbing and Heating Limited for 3 year after Lewis installed a new heating system in our Victorian house. Lewis has carried out the annual service every year since, and always impressed with the service we receive. This year following the routine service, Lewis suspected a possible gas leak. He stayed several house tracking the leak down, going above the service required and finally isolated and capped of the problem pipe. Impressed with is diligence to solving a problem. I use Lewis regularly for maintenance work and gas/boiler checks on a rental property in Brighton. I spoken to a number of plumbers local to me around Haywards heath, who told me that what I wanted to do wasn't feasible so I asked Lewis if he'd mind coming out to do the work. He very kindly did despite us being a bit further afield than he normally does jobs. He did a number of jobs replacing our boiler with a baxi combi boiler, removed the old tank from the bathroom, complete bathroom refit and replaced all the upstairs radiators with new column radiators. The boiler was above the kitchen sink in an awkward spot but Lewis managed to fit this neatly and also installed our new Tado smart thermostat - which we love. The bathroom refit included demolishing a small section of wall and removing old shower, constructing an area of floor to ceiling boxing for the shower pipes to run through, bath, vanity unit and repositioning the toilet. He also refitted our aqualisa shower - advising us prior to starting the work the parts we'd need to obtain from aqualisa to go from a low pressure to high pressure system. Lewis is always on time, tidy, works to an extremely high standard, great communication and is very knowledgeable about his field. I have no hesitation in recommending him. Kathryn Owen

I feel guilty because Lewis services our boiler every year after he installed it 4 years ago and this is the first time I have left a review. He charges a fair price and is thorough and professional in every respect. He is polite and sensitive to the needs of his customers. My wife hates having tradesmen in the house but is more than happy to see Lewis. There was a time when I would do all my own plumbing but now I am in my 60's I don't feel so confident these days. I have seen what Lewis can do and I would not dream of attempting any project in the future. I know Lewis will do it better. Lewis is a man who clearly knows his business and makes a point of providing his customers with the very best service at a reasonable price. We would not dream of going anywhere else for any plumbing work we need.

I had a new Vailant central heating boiler fitted. I also had both a faulty toilet flush mechanism and a damaged shower drain replaced.. All the work was carried out without fuss , politely and efficiently. The total price was very reasonable (Cheaper than British Gas for the boiler part of the job) I am entirely happy with all the work carried out.

I got 3 quotes, Lewis was in the middle. Lewis had a good clear, friendly manner and his quote was very clear and detailed. He arrived when he said he would and always left the place clear and tidy. He uncovered an old leak which meant he had to rip out an old stud wall that was damp and rotten, but he dealt with it immediately and still managed to finish the job on time. The finished work looks amazing and has completely transformed out bathroom. I would'nt hesitate to recommend Lewis for this type of job.

I booked a timed appointment, and Lewis arrived on time. On arrival, I advised Lewis of a newly found possible problem with my rather old Baxi Combi-Boiler. Lewis helped me choose the elements required for the bathroom refit and recommended suppliers where I could obtain catalogues or look at show rooms for ideas. He suggested I look at shower panels rather than tiles for the shower area and I have to say these look absolutely brilliant He checked that everything chosen would fit in the space available and agreed a date for the work to be done. He organised a plasterer to repair a wall to provide a better finish and a carpenter to adjust the shower area and fit the shower panels - all I had to do was paint it before the fitting (only because I wanted to)! His work is of the highest standard (he has previously fitted a new boiler for me as well as other plumbing jobs). He is professional, tidy, friendly and prices are reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any heating or plumbing work

Lewis installed our boiler in 2016 and has provided the annual service in 2017 and 2018. Lewis is thorough but also completes his work quickly and without fuss.
